Olympia Street Improvements Coming … Someday

The City of Kennewick and Benton County are planning to make improvements on a portion of Olympia Street … but it won’t happen for at least a year.

The city just received a state grant to help pay for widening about 2,500 feet of Olympia on the county side. They also plan to add sidewalks, curbs and gutters to both sides of the road from the 397 intertie all the way to 27th Street.

But the $3 million project won’t even go out to bid until next year. So, don’t hold your breath just yet.
