Kennewick Businesses Among Best Places to Work in Washington
Two Kennewick companies have been included among Washington’s Best 100 Companies to Work For, a list compiled by Washington CEO magazine. The honorees are MEIER Enterprises and Vista Engineering Technologies. They were evaluated by employee and management surveys, and a review by a panel of human resource professionals. The final rankings will come out in the magazine’s July issue. But congrats are in order now!

- Hansen Park Fitness will open in July at the Hansen Park Shopping Center on 10th Avenue and Columbia Center Boulevard. The club will have about 7,000 square feet of equipment.
- The Local Fly Shop is now open for business behind Markee’s Cycling Center on Yost Street. Jerry Markee owns both businesses.
- It looks like a new Taco Time restaurant is coming to Kennewick. Signs are showing up at the intersection of Clearwater Avenue and Columbia Center Blvd.
