Huge Fire Today in Kennewick

Unless you were out of town or just never left your house, you surely saw or smelled the big fire today in between I-82 and the Columbia Center area. KEPR-TV reported, at one point, that there were five separate fires burning in the area near Hildebrand and Sherman.

It started in the afternoon, and was still burning when I drove by at around 8:30 pm tonight. The smoke was as thick as I’ve ever experienced. Crazy.
