Congrats to Kennewick American 12s

Kennewick American logoThe Kennewick American 12-year-olds came up just short Thursday at the Cal Ripken World Series in Tennessee, losing the championship 3-2 to Bear, Delaware. The kids from Delaware scored a run in the bottom of the 5th (of a 6-inning game) on a bases-loaded walk — tough way to lose.

But the Kennewick 12s have a lot to be proud of — so, don’t miss the welcome back party 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the baseball fields on the 2200 block of South Olympia St. in Kennewick.
